BBQ Pulled Pork

EASY AND DELICIOUS!

Cooks for 6 hours on low so your apartment will smell AMAZING when you get home! Just pull the pork apart, toast a bun, invite the neighbor drooling on the doorstep to come on in, and serve with a salad. 

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds pork tenderloin
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tsp minced or smashed garlic
  • 6 oz bbq sauce (we usually use Sweet Baby Ray's)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • salt and pepper
  • oil or spray for slow cooker
  • 2 tsp siracha or hot sauce (optional but... come on)

Equipment

  • Large slow cooker

Instructions

  1. Spray or lightly oil the slow cooker.
  2. Add the pork tenderloin with salt and pepper.
  3. Cover the pork with the onions, garlic, bbq sauce, and hot sauce.
  4. Pour the chicken brother around the tenderloin like a moat.
  5. Cook on low for 6 hours and then shred with forks.
