yep, I'm also a
writer
As a playwright, I'm drawn to exploring contemporary themes and motifs through classical and traditional theatrical frameworks. Much of my work is written in iambic pentameter, reflecting my deep engagement with historical forms and poetic structure. Regardless of genre or subject matter, my plays and musicals are consistently shaped by my love of history and the visual arts.

infanta
Cast: 8-9
Runtime: 1.5 hours
In this one-act drama set in the 11th century inspired by Seneca's Thyestes, Infanta Urraca of Spain plots her revenge against her brother (and former incestuous lover) King Alfonso of Spain. Judas Iscariot and a chorus of four Archangels witness the plot unfold as Urraca takes horrible vengeance against her brother and his son for what they took from her. The play uses a mixture of English and Spanish, as well as mixing iambic pentameter, modern prose, and anapestic trimeter (a nine-syllable meter).

the brothers of elize
Cast size: 12
Runtime: 2+ hours
In this original tenth-century five-act tragedy written in iambic pentameter, Duchess Elize of Baskoniako is the matriarch of House Vela and only legitimate daughter of the late Duke Vela, although she has four illegitimate brothers with four different mothers: two Christian and two Muslim. As her liege goes to war and she is expected to fight for him, her brother-in-law plots the downfall of her family, siding with the enemy. THE BROTHERS OF ELIZE is a tragedy of family, religion, societal obligation, and grappling with the sins of one's ancestors. Christian and Islamic imagery and motifs are used throughout the play, with the Adhan being sung once in each of the five acts. While most of the dialogue is in English, a few characters speak some Arabic, and two speak some Italian.
