A FESTIVE FAMILY TRADITION!
I love freaking people out with the ingredient list for this recipe, but it really is pretty good!
(And I love this photo of an amazing line of women in her family!)
Ingredients
- 1 pack lime jello
- 1 c boiling water
- 1 lb cottage cheese, large curd
- 1 tsp grated onion
- 1 cup mayonaise
- 1/2 c green pepper, diced
- 1/2 c celery, diced
- 1 c walnuts, chopped
Equipment
- 2 mixing bowls
- Jello mold or cake pan
- Whisk
- Sturdy mixing spoon
Instructions
- Dissolve the jello packet in 1 cup boiling water and allow to cool.
- In another bowl, mix together all other ingredients.
- Add the jello and combine. Pour into jello mold or cake pan. Refrigerate.
- Serve when chilled all the way through.
