Ingredients
Meatballs
- 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 1/2 cup crackers, crushed up (like Ritz)
Sauce
- 1 cup ketchup
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup vinegar
Equipment
- Large mixing bowl
- Small bowl
- Backing pan (like for lasagna or a large cast iron skillet)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Mix hamburger, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Add eggs, crushed crackers, and onio; stir.
- Shape into balls and place in the baking pan.
- Mix ketchup, brown sugar, and vinegar; pour over meat.
- Bake uncovered for 40 minutes.
