Ingredients

Pigs & Blankets
  • Flour for surface
  • Crescent roll dough in tube
  • 1 package mini cocktail weiners
  • 4 Tbls butter, melted
  • Everything-But-The-Bagel salt (or just salt)
Honey Mustard Sauce (Optional but very tasty)
  • 1/2 c mayo
  • 1/4 c dijon
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp sweet paprika
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp ground mustard
  • 1/4 c olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried herbs (chives, parsley, dill, etc.)
  • 1-2 Tbls honey
  • Kosher salt to taste

Equipment

  • Cookie sheet
  • Kitchen towel (preferably clean)
  • 2 small dishes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. On lightly floured surface, unroll crescent sheets and tear along perforation. Cut each triangle into 3 small triangles (or at least two.)
  3. Place 1 weiner on thick side of each triangle, then roll to the thinner end to wrap. Transfer to baking sheet.
  4. Melt butter in small dish. Brush the weiner rolls with the melted butter and sprinkle with Everything-But-The-Bagel.
  5. Bake until golden, 10-15 minutes.
  6. Mix all the ingredients for the dip in a small ball. There will be way more dip than you need, but you also use it for chicken or salmon or a meaty-cheesy board.
